Oh yes, summer is SO sweet! We're getting back to some of our favorite annual traditions for our guests this year. So... what can you expect when visiting The Strawberry Inn this Memorial Day Weekend? We'll tell you!
First off, we want to highlight the importance of Memorial Day as a holiday! It is so important to us that we remember and honor the heroic actions of all of our fallen soldiers and members of the military. We take American holidays seriously around here - so we definitely like to make Memorial Day a memorable time at our boutique hotel!
Summer Patriotic Decor!
As you may know, we adorn the Inn and our properties with patriotic bunting for the summer months! It's so festive and is one of my favorite seasonal looks for our hotel. It's always up just before Memorial Day Weekend, and stays up until after Labor Day Weekend! Snap your summer pics in front of the decor and be sure to tag us on socials!
Pine-Strawberry Arts & Crafts Festival:
This annual event is so much fun for crafters like myself! Taking place from Saturday, May 24 - Sunday, May 25, you can find vendor booths at the Pine Community Center with handcrafted goodies for sale. Learn more HERE.
Live Music & Great Food:
As usual on the weekends, Strawberry & Pine are bustling with restaurant goers at our favorite spots like THAT Brewery, Pinewood Tavern, & Old County Inn! Aside from the delicious food you can find in this small town, the ambiance of listening to the bands play is the best!
Pancake Breakfast:
Please join Mountain Village Foundation this weekend at their annual pancake breakfast! The local boy scouts start the breakfast off at 7:00am with the posting of the colors and then join in our national anthem.
All you can eat pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and coffee. Money raised goes to local organizations, those in need, and kids' programs in our community.
$7 for adults. $4 for kids. Pine Cultural Hall. 7:00am-10:00am
However you decide to spend the long weekend, we know you'll have the sweetest time here in Strawberry! We have a lot more summer fun planned to be announced later. This summer is one you won't want to miss... stay tuned!

This sounds like such a lovely way to welcome the summer season, especially with all the local traditions and community events. I really like that the post highlights the meaning of Memorial Day while also sharing the fun things happening around Strawberry. The pancake breakfast and arts & crafts festival sound especially enjoyable, and spinmama was another interesting find while browsing. The whole weekend sounds like it would have a really warm, small-town atmosphere.
It’s funny how Memorial Day always felt like the official summer kickoff, similar to how Labor Day wraps it up. I usually just see it as a long weekend, but your take on it being a real reset point makes me rethink how we mark seasons.

What I liked about this article is that it covers the subject in a way that is easy to follow. I was already looking for information in this area and decided to continue my research afterward. In particular, I checked digitalsuits jewelry website development , which gave me another useful perspective on the topic.
I wanted a Drive Mad free version for a quick gaming session. It turned out to be a fun way to pass the time without creating an account.
I rarely leave comments, but this article was genuinely useful. I've been trying to find clear information on this topic for quite some time. After reading it, I also decided to learn more about what is institutional crypto trading , and that turned out to be an interesting subject as well.
