Summer in Strawberry: Everything You Need to Know

Consider this your one-stop-shop for everything you need to know to plan an amazing summer here in Rim Country. Festivals, concerts, craft fairs, and more – there’s no shortage of fun to be had. Keep scrolling for a quick rundown of events throughout summer. We will update this blog post as we learn about more events around town.


Throughout the summer, we will have summer movie nights and hosted community fire pits every Friday and Saturday nights starting Memorial Day weekend and continuing to Labor Day weekend (with weather permitting). Keep an eye on our Instagram stories to vote on which movies we show every weekend!



Green Valley Park hosts a “Summer Concert Series” in June and July. Grab a picnic blanket, some drinks and snacks, and enjoy an evening of music! Save this link for a complete list of music line-ups.


Windmill Coffee has exciting new things in the works (new drinks, snacks, and more)!


May


May 6th – Pine Trail Run. Get some exercise and help raise funds for improving the health of the forest!


May 18-20 – Gary Hardt Memorial Rodeo at the Payson Event Center




June


June 5-9 – VBS at Strawberry Chapel – includes lunch! The theme is ‘Twists & Turns.’


June 9-10 – Strawberry Patchers Quilt Show – come see what some of the most talented people in Rim Country create!



Date TBA – Strawberry Music Camp at Strawberry Chapel – includes choir, handbells, percussion/stomp, and more!


June 30th - Live music at Old County Inn: Jeremy & Landon - 6pm


July


July 1 – Parade at Bandits in Strawberry - 10:00am



July 1 - Red, White, and Blue party at The Strawberry Chapel. Free and open to the community! Food, bounce house, games, live band - 12:00pm

September 16 – Fire on the Rim bike race – even if you’re not racing, this event is still worth attending, with a beer garden, vendors, live music, food trucks, an auction, and more.
