Today, we’re highlighting a really smart and talented business owner who we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know over the last few years when she’s come to stay in Strawberry.
Sam Capaldi is CEO of Samantha Sommelier and Samantha Sommelier Wine Club! Sam is a “no snob somm,” who has an extensive knowledge of wine and is a certified sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. She takes pride in offering the best service and making sure that her clients are 100% satisfied! Sam shares a passion for making wine fun and approachable for any level of wine enthusiast. She even has her own brand of wine!
We love a good glass of wine, and during her most recent visit to Strawberry, we had the chance to do a tasting with Sam for my birthday! It was such a fun experience. I loved the extensive knowledge that she brought, and felt like I ended the night knowing way more about wine than ever before. Sam made it all feel so accessible yet so much fun. I would 100% do it again, and recommend you do it too if you’re looking for a special experience! Sam offers virtual or in person tasting experiences. For virtual tastings, she will guide you in purchasing the wines in advance, and will send supplies to use during the experience, including a custom wine and food pairing guide, and a wine 101 guide.
In person wine tasting is full service, and is designed to be a truly unforgettable experience that you and your friends/family won’t be able to stop talking about. The cost varies based on location and number of guests, but I promise, it’s well worth the investment.
