Are you a quilter like me?! If so, you may be interested in the Strawberry Patchers Quilt Show coming up on June 10 & 11, 2022 in Pine @ the Cultural Hall!
The Strawberry Patchers is a chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild that has been around since 1994! With over 40 avid members of super talented quilters of all skill levels (including myself!), the group is super close to my heart. A love for quilting is something my family members passed down to me. My Aunt Krissy is a contributing member of the guild, and my daughters LOVE to quilt as well with us! We've hosted many modern quilt guild retreats over the years at The Strawberry Inn, and they are also one of our favorite charitable causes to donate to as well. The group of individuals involved do so much good in the community. We love supporting these awesome locals and friends in whatever way we can, which is why we are sponsoring this event!
So what can you expect at the show?! There is a "vendor mall" with handmade goods, hourly raffle drawings, free demos, tool sharpening, a fun bake sale, and even a special exhibit on the history of fabric!
Attendees can participate in a "viewers choice voting" on creative, innovative, and traditional quilts on display. Bring a canned food item for donation and receive a free raffle ticket toward the prize of a lap quilt.
This event is only $5 for admission, so definitely plan to stop by! Several businesses in the community are sponsoring ribbons, so it will be fun to see all of the awards won!
