The Best Small-Town Christmas Parade
Updated: Apr 12, 2021
Are you officially in holiday mode now? I know we are! If you’re not, is there anything better than Christmas lights to get you in the holiday spirit? The town of Payson hosts an annual Christmas light event that is a favorite for locals and visitors.
The main event is the electric light parade! Parade participants go down Main Street, and include floats, marching bands, music, and of course, Santa Claus!

In addition to the parade, shops and businesses along main street are offering fun, family-oriented events with crafts, music, food, and more. The parade begins at 6pm, but plan to get there early (and dress accordingly!) to browse the shops before the festivities!

We are planning to attend, so make sure you say hi if you see us.
Want to make a full day of it? Don’t forget to come visit The Rusty Pine Cone in Pine to meet Santa! He and Mrs. Claus will be there every weekend until the weekend before Christmas.
Happy Holidays!
